Integrating Food Services and Sport Fandom

Hi, my name is Ginny, and I love sports. I also love everything about the restaurant industry – I have dined and worked at countless restaurants, and I have also volunteered at kitchens that feed the homeless. Over the years, I have really noticed what works and what doesn't in the food services industry, especially as related to sports. I have seen how to attract people to your restaurant to watch sports games, how to write a menu that appeals to a certain type of sports fan and how to successfully plan the food at special sporting events. In this blog, I am going to explore everything related to sports and food services. Whether you are looking for tips for your restaurant, sports bar or even your food truck, I hope that you find answers here. Grab a snack, get comfortable and start reading. Enjoy!

5 Often-Forgotten Places Where Vending Machines Can Be Most Profitable

Investing in vending machines is an excellent way to earn a bit of passive income that does not really require a lot of work. After working with a supplier to get the machines you need, you are left looking for the best locations. Here are a few often-overlooked places that can be really profitable for vending machine owners.

1. Apartment Complexes

Apartment complexes can have numerous residents concentrated into one area. Placing vending machines at the apartment complex's office or somewhere within the area can be a great way to earn some extra income. Residents can go and grab a drink or snack whenever they need to without having to leave home to do it.

2. Auto Service Centers

When you stop in at an auto service place to get your new tires installed, your brakes changed, or an oil change, you may be left waiting for a bit. Not many auto service centers sell cold beverage and munchy snacks on their own; vending machines can be a valuable addition for customers and a profitable thing for you.

3. Country Stores

Deep in the heart of some rural areas, country stores can still be found serving the surrounding residents. While these small stores often have limited hours of operation, most of them will have no qualms about allowing you to place a vending machine at the front of their store for visitors to use when the store is closed. Since these locations tend to be in areas where there is not much else available, you will get a lot of sales from passersby who are happy to see they can get a cold drink in spite of their location.

4. Bus Stops

While waiting for the bus on a hot summer day, there is nothing better than having direct access to a vending machine so you can get a cold drink or maybe even a snack. While many street-side bus stops are little more than a bench, some of them do now have a semi-shelter with electricity where a vending machine could be placed.

5. City Sports Fields

City sports fields are usually owned and operated by the local government. These places can vary depending on the location, but most of them have several fields where youth baseball and softball leagues gather to play. While concessions may be available during big games, having access to vending machines during practice and everyday game get-togethers can be really valuable. As the vending machine supplier, this gives you ample opportunity to make a lot of profit.
